Alright, alright, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Tom Segura. Seems like he got himself all banged up, somethin’ with a dunk, ya know, like basketball? I ain’t never played no basketball myself, too busy workin’ the fields, but I heard tell of it.

So, this Tom, he’s a comedian, makes folks laugh, I reckon. But seems like he ain’t too good at the dunkin’. He went and hurt himself, bad enough that it’s a whole big thing. I tell ya, these young folks and their fancy games! Back in my day, we worked hard, didn’t have time for jumpin’ around and hurtin’ ourselves.
Now, they sayin’ he’s got this tour comin’ up, lots of shows all over the place. Places like Denver, that’s out west, right? And Phoenix, hot as blazes there, I bet. And Toronto, up in Canada, I think. My niece went to Canada once, said it was cold, but pretty.

Kirk Fox, the Opening Act
And get this, this Kirk Fox fella, he’s gonna be openin’ up for Tom on some of them shows. Never heard of him myself, but I guess he’s funny too. Seems like they’re makin’ a whole big deal outta this tour, addin’ more shows and all. I guess people like to laugh, even when times are tough.
I tell ya, laughin’ is good for ya. Keeps you from gettin’ all stressed out. Me, I like to laugh at them silly TV shows sometimes, when I ain’t too tired from workin’. But mostly, I just like sittin’ on the porch and watchin’ the birds, that’s peaceful.
Now, back to this Tom and his injury. I don’t know exactly what happened, but it sounds like he messed himself up pretty good. Maybe he fell, maybe he twisted somethin’. I ain’t no doctor, so I can’t say for sure. But I hope he gets better soon, nobody likes bein’ in pain.
Tour Dates and Details
They sayin’ they added more than 20 shows to the tour. That’s a lot of shows, I reckon. Must be makin’ good money, this Tom. Good for him, I say. Everybody’s gotta make a livin’, right? Whether you’re farmin’ or tellin’ jokes, it’s all the same in the end. Gotta put food on the table, gotta keep a roof over your head.
